Regular beach hut checkups
Monthly inspections of your beach hut to check for signs of damage (weather, vandalism), security issues (doors, windows), and general condition. We report back to you with updates and photos. Opening the doors once a month with a light clean reduces nasty surprises when you return to your beach hut in the good weather.
We primarily help beach hut owners from Goring to Hove. This includes Worthing, Lancing, Widewater, Shoreham Beach, Southwick, and Hove beach.
For larger projects like new beach hut construction, we may travel further afield within Sussex. Please contact us to discuss your specific location and needs.
The best way is to contact us directly via email, leaving your phone number & beach hut number, along with any photos that you may have.
We usually need to discuss the specifics of the job and may need to visit the hut (especially for repairs, construction, or larger carpentry jobs) to provide an accurate, no-obligation quote.
Due to the coastal conditions in Sussex (salt spray, wind, sun), we generally recommend external repainting or wood treatment every 1-2 years, depending on the hut's exposure and the quality of the previous finish. Regular checks are advised.
Check out our beach hut maintenance guide to learn more about the best things you can do for your hut in each season.
Yes, we can arrange scheduled maintenance visits as part of our key holding & patrol services.
This could include checks after winter, pre-season preparation, annual wood treatment or other regular tasks tailored to your needs. This helps prevent larger issues down the line.
Beach huts are typically governed by local ordinances.
These ordinances can vary from one location to another, so it's important to check with your local authorities to determine what the rules are in your area:
